Terminological systems of ecology in English, French, and Russian languages are compared in order to propose ways of preparing ecologists with different levels of language skills to translate texts on environmental issues for professional purposes. Ways of understanding and interpreting resemantized units have been proposed. As Internet technology skills are essential, their role at the pre-translational text analysis is discussed.
