The article presents the results of a comparison of environmental and legal liability in the field of radioactive waste management in the French Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea. In addition, based on the experience of foreign countries, recommendations are given in order to improve the efficiency of responsibility in this area in Russia
