INTERNATIONAL PRACTICES OF LEGAL REGULATION OF THE EXTENDED PRODUCERS RESPONSIBILITY (EPR) IN THE FIELD OF WASTE MANAGEMENT

This work is a comprehensive comparative assessment of the legal regulation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) application in the field of waste management in Russia and abroad. The research introduced a general analysis of the legal regulations of EPR in Russia, Sweden and Canada as well as the comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of their legal regulations. Moreover, special proposals were formed to improve the effectiveness of legal regulation of EPR mechanism in the Russian Federation based on its current shortcomings.
