Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) are changing the way people and businesses are organized and structured. From determining the governing law and jurisdiction, the legal nature and legal personality, as well as the degree of liability applicable to their members, this type of decentralized structure raises an array of complex yet fascinating set of legal questions. This article focuses on the different legal mechanisms and approaches for establishing a DAO.
