Russian-Arab Collaboration: Scientific and Practical Aspects of Mutual Interests Formation

The article is devoted to the areas and the most important directions of Russian-GCC economic cooperation. Today most of the GCC countries are increasing their spending, providing debt finance and the strategic location of the GCC can be leveraged as a launch pad for securing business in the surrounding market so that part of the world should be looked at as a 250 million-strong consumer market. Russia has a great deal of centers of excel- lence, natural resources, intellectual capital, human resources, and so forth. And that can certainly be leveraged for tapping into these opportunities available in the region.
