VARIOUS MESH FIXATION METHODS DURING OPEN INGUINAL HERNIA REPAIR: SUTURED FIXATION VERSUS SELF-FIXED MESH VERSUS TACK FIXATION

Prospective clinical trial has been used to compare and evaluate three various fixation methods: sutured fixation versus self-fixed mesh versus tack fixation during open inguinal hernia repair by Lichtenstein. The aim of this study is to improve the results of surgical treatment in open inguinal hernioplasty by using various fixation methods for open anterior hernia repair by Lichtenstein.
