Рассмотрены механизмы выделения и защиты особо ценных земель в качестве важнейшего элемента «зеленого» землепользования. Уточнено понятие особо ценных земель. Изложены действующие и предлагаемые подходы по выделению особо ценных земель, а также проанализированы критерии их определения.
