PROTECTION FROM ENVIRONMENTAL AND OCCUPATIONAL NOISE POLLUTION

This paper examines various approaches of protection from noise pollution at the workplace and public buildings. Incorporating different studies and research, this work demonstrates 3 main methods, such as engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Aside from those methods, there are additional ones which can consolidate the effectiveness of the main methods, these are training and education, design and layout, and noise monitoring.
