THE IMPACT OF NOISE ON HUMAN HEALTH

The excessive sound range is extremely detrimental to human health, for example, noise from various technical devices can inhibit human reactions and increase the risk of making mistakes in the workplace. Noise can damage the central nervous system, which can lead to breathing disorders, tachycardia, stomach ulcers and the development of cardiovascular disease and hypertension. If the sound range exceeds the level of 140 dB, a person may have ruptured eardrums, the occurrence of concussion, if the excess reaches 160 dB or more, it may be fatal. For comparison, the strength of sound during conversation is 40 dB, and various noises in offices, for example from computers and printers - 55 dB [1].
