Teoretical and methodological aspects of "fear" research in sociology

This article analyzes some methodological aspects of sociological study of fears. There are four branches of contemporary social science, that study fears: sociology of risk, sociology of safety, catastrophy consciousness studies and social madness analysis. List of fears research categories isn't complete or approved yet, but it's quite obvious that contemporary society demands fears to be analyzed.
