DEMOCRATIZATION: THE PARTICULARITIES OF ITS MODERN WAVE

The article devotes to the analysis of the third wave of the third wave of democratization up to present days. The author regards different aspects of democratic transition and democratic consolidation. As is well known, modern wave of democratization has global character. However by the end of 90^th we observe the stagnation of the process in many countries. As a result there is a gap between electoral democracy and the liberal one.
