Dynamics of growing of tissues of gelded rams with different levels of feeding

The dynamics of growth of the tissue of young gelded rams with different level of feeding was studied in the article. It was found that the carcasses of these animals, like those of the uncas-trated rams, mostly contained muscle tissue. It shows a more rapid growth with the age in the animals not subjected to the operation and with intensified feeding. As far as fat is concerned, the rate of its deposition in the organism of the animals increases, but in gelded rams - to more extent, as compared to the uncastrated rams of the same age. The relative weight of other tissues of the carcasses (bones, ligaments, fascia, lymphatic nodes, kidneys) is reduced while the animals are growing.
