Novel As A Genre In Romantic Period

The above presented article considers different kinds of English Romantic novel, pointing at the peculiarities of the prose genre in the flourishing epoch of poetry. Special attention is paid to the linear tradition of the genre development. The most essential features are presented and analyzed in the socio-historical context.
