В статье рассматриваются вопросы, связанные с ролью религии в современных социально-политических процессах в России и Европе. Особый акцент сделан на проблеме актуализации религии как основания культурно-цивилизационной идентичности, потребовавшей новых политических стратегий, прежде всего на основе принципа толерантности.

Religion Identity in Contemporary Socio-Political Pro- cesses in Russia and Europe

The article considers the questions connected with the role of religion in contemporary socio-political processes in Russia and in Europe. The main emphasis is laid on the problem of the actualization of the religion as the basis of the cultural-civilized identity, which requires political strategies, first of all on the basis of the principals of tolerance.
