Некоммутативная геометрия и топология в Московском государственном университете

В статье изложена история становления некоммутативной геометрии на механико-математическом факультете МГУ и описана работа семинара по некоммутативной геометрии и топологии, на основе которого некоммутативная геометрия на факультете и формировалась. Некоммутативная геометрия играет все большую роль в структуре всех математических наук и поэтому мы отразили в статье не только развитие некоммутативной геометрии, но и разделы геометрии и анализа, которые потенциально приближаются к ней.

The paper outlines the history of the formation of noncommutative geometry at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University and describes the work of the seminar on noncommutative geometry and topology, on the basis of which noncommutative geometry at the faculty was formed. Noncommutative geometry plays an increasingly important role in the structure of all mathematical sciences, and therefore we reflected in the article not only the development of noncommutative geometry, but also the branches of geometry and analysis that potentially approach it.
