CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN BASIN: REVIEW

The article is devoted to the analysis of published scientific literature related to the climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean Basin. It is concluded that the region is witnessing significant change in climate conditions that affect the region's ecosystems, population and economy and there is need to continue further research on the given topic.
