DEVELOPMENT OF A TECHNOLOGICAL SCHEME FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HYALURONIC ACID

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is the most important biopolymer, the natural sources of which are the umbilical cords, tracheas, vitreous body of the eyes, and the combs of poultry (roosters). Proposed chemical-technological process for the hyaluronic acid production based on the extraction of HA from cockscombs makes it possible to expand the scope of application of the technology due to the non-toxicity of production, which can bring it to the source of raw materials and carry out complex processing of raw materials.
