Climate as object: exploring combinatorial potential in ecological discourse

Language is a continuously evolving structure that adapts to the needs and preferences of its speakers. While some words become outdated, the others acquire new meanings, reflecting the dynamic nature of communication. Moreover, specialized fields such as ecology often develop their own terminology, changing existing words or creating entirely new ones to convey specific concepts. In the realms of academia, ensuring clarity in the interpretation of terms is essential for effective communication within scientific communities. However, despite efforts towards standardization, modern ecological discourse presents a challenge due to the widespread use of words with uncertain semantics.
