Purpose of the study is to explore the importance of understanding the true meaning of a term, which one can only understand accurately in collocations. The ability to understand standard collocations contributes to the accuracy and unambiguity of professional terminology, in which there should be no misunderstandings and definition problems, so the semantic potential and valence of linguistic units are the focus of combinatory linguistics. In turn, we should not forget about the potential behind the combinatorial valence of linguistic units and the study and continuous improvement of professional terminology.
