PROCESSING OF ASSOCIATED PETROLEUM GAS AS PART OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SDG 13

The processing of associated petroleum gas is a key element in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 13, adopted as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The work established that the processing of associated petroleum gas is an important step in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and as a consequence aimed at combating climate change. It has been established that flaring of APG leads to emissions into the atmosphere, and processing, in turn, allows it to be used to obtain valuable products for further production.
