ECO-TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION IN EGYPT: PATHWAYS TO SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT IN BRICS

The article analyzes the prospects for the introduction of eco-technologies and the creation of green cities in Egypt within the framework of the BRICS sustainable development strategy. It examines the key geographical and economic factors affecting the environmental situation in the country and proposes specific technological and socio-cultural measures to improve it. Special attention is paid to the development of renewable energy sources, optimization of water resource use, environmentally friendly construction, and expansion of green areas in cities. The article also analyzes Egypt's achievements in promoting the green agenda and its potential for transition to sustainable development in the context of cooperation with BRICS partners.
