ДЕРЕВЯННЫЕ НЕБОСКРЕБЫ: НИЗКОУГЛЕРОДИСТАЯ ТИПОЛОГИЯ ЗДАНИЙ ДЛЯ 21 ВЕКА

The article considers wood as a new and more environmentally friendly material for construction. The construction industry consumes about 40% of the world's energy and is responsible for almost a third of greenhouse gas emissions. Traditional materials that emerged in the industrial era, such as concrete and steel, are the culprits of these figures. The article discusses the possibility of wood as a building material to become more popular in high-rise construction. With the development of technology and the rapid growth of urban landscapes, wood has become a serious competitor in the field of skyscraper design. Such skyscrapers are called plyscrapers because of the specifics of making durable wood. The author analyzes and compares examples of high-rise wooden construction from world architecture. Wooden skyscrapers have more advantages from an environmental point of view, durability and impressive fire resistance, although there are several problems associated with this material. The construction of high-rise wooden structures for cities around the world promises a sustainable and innovative future.
