РОЛЬ ПОЭТИЧЕСКОГО ТЕКСТА В ОБУЧЕНИИ АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ

В статье рассматриваются вопросы использования художественного текста в процессе обучения студентов-гуманитариев английскому языку. Особое внимание уделяется роли поэтического текста в погружении студентов в иную культуру. Представлен опыт работы с сонетами В. Шекспира. Дается описание предложенных автором трех этапов работы с указанными произведениями.

ROLE OF POETIC TEXT IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

The author considers the questions of literary text use in the process of teaching classical students to speak the English language, pays special attention to the role of poetic text in immersing students in another culture, presents the experience of work with sonnets by W. Shakespeare, and gives the description of three stages of working with these compositions, suggested by the author.
