Функционирование терминов гидрологии в СМИ

Статья посвящена проблеме детерминологизации термина - общеупотребительному использованию специальных единиц, при котором происходит трансформация значения, меняется контекст их употребления, что ведет к появлению квазисинонимов. Частотное употребление терминов вне языка специальности, расширение их функционального употребления имплицирует размывание понятийной семантики. Процесс детерминологизации рассмотрен на примере гидрологических терминов, употребление которых в СМИ многократно возросло из-за ситуации на реке Урал в 2024 году.

The article is devoted to the problem of determinologization of a term: the commonly used use of special units, in which the meaning is transformed, the context of their use changes, which leads to the emergence of quasi-synonyms for terms in a certain field of activity. The frequent use of terminological units outside the language of the specialty, the expansion of their functional use implies the erosion of the conceptual semantics of the term. The purpose of the article is to describe the transformation of the semantics of the hydrological terms “polovodie” (high water) and “pavodok” (flood) and differentiate them from the commonly used lexemes big water and flood. The process of determinologization is examined using the example of hydrological terms, the use of which in the media has increased many times due to the difficult flood situation on the river Ural in 2024.
