This article covers key issues and considerations related to use of biosimilars in the therapy of rheumatoid arthritis. Since significant number of new biosimilars is entering now the stage of regulatory approval process and soon will become available for prescription, substantination for detailed research of biosimilars focused on population of patients in Russia should be addressed with high importance.
