VANCOMYCIN USE IN PRETERM NEONATES

The article deals with the treatment of preterm infants by antibacterial drugs. Modern statistical data on the prevalence of infectious diseases among the selected group is given. The main infectious agents of these diseases are described. Vancomycin dosing in low-birth- weight preterm neonates is paid attention due to the high prevalence of gram-positive microflora as a causative agent of infections in prematurity.
