VERTICAL FOREST. SCIENTIFIC PROJECT OR FICTION?

In this article, the term vertical forest and its ability to respond to chronic urban problems are considered: deficiency of space for greenery and natural environments, air pollution, noise and visual pollution, and others. The prototype of a vertical forest (Bosco Verticale in the heart of Milan, in the district of Isola of Milan) and its characteristic abilities to influence the environment are analyzed, as well as the disadvantages and/or details found in the building. Based on the study, the authors propose a solution to these deficiencies by using intelligent pots (Air-Pot).
