THE DOCUMENTARY LINGUISTICS AS A SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINE

In this article the history of formation and prospects of development of documentary linguistics as a scientific discipline is investigated. The author defines new directions of linguistics, analyzes the approaches to the teaching of document linguistics in various higher educational institutions of Russia, identifies the possibilities and perspective directions of the development of document linguistics in modern conditions.
