A Thrombomixer for Safe Storage of Platelet-Containing Transfusion Media

An agitator for the safe storage of platelet-containing transfusion media has been developed. The device uses thermal stabilization systems based on semiconductor thermoelectric elements. It has been shown that conditions for the safe storage of platelet-containing transfusion media can be produced using temperature control with high specifications for temperature accuracy and uniformity of temperature throughout the volume.
