Public administration in Peru is carried out through the decentralization of powers. This decentralization is still in process, since as time passes, new demographic and social challenges appear that affect the development of the country. This article aims to explain what the decentralization process in Peru consists of, as well as to show how the local autonomy of the country itself is made up, that is, its regional and local governments.
