Physical education of smg students in conditions of modern challenges

Objective of the study was to theoretical and experimental substantiation of the effectiveness of physical education of students of a special medical group (SMG) in a mixed learning format. Methods and structure of the study. The analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical experiment, testing, mathematical and statistical processing of results were carried out. The experiment involved students with health problems of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (n=419). In 2019-2020 (1st year) students studied in full-time distance form in conditions of restrictions and self-isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020-2021 (2nd year) training was held in a full-time distance and mixed format. Results and conclusions. The introduction of the means of adaptive physical culture and elements of health-improving systems of physical exercises with the use of information and digital technologies into the physical culture and educational process, the integration of offline and online learning, new forms of interaction "teacher-student" contributed to the increase in the functional capabilities of the students' organism and the improvement of physical fitness indicators for all studied control exercises, adaptation to the educational process in the face of modern challenges (unstable epidemiological situation). © 2022, Teoriya i praktika fizicheskoy kul'tury i sporta.
