Nowadays, in the era of geopolitical tensions, translators find themselves in the center of information wars and casual participants in ideological conflicts. Their professional decisions can affect the perception of events by millions of people. This article is aimed at analyzing the key ethical challenges faced by translators in the context of ideological and political conflicts and to make practical recommendations for maintaining professionalism under potential pressure. The work presents a set of scientific methods such as comparative analysis of real examples from diplomatic, media and human rights practice, historical analysis and systematic analysis that helps to detect all the difficulties in translation of significant political events. The study is relevant due to the increasing role of translators in the age of global crises and polarized world order.
