Information system with remote aerospace database

A system prototype was created for cooperation and data exchange in the natural sciences field between the center of aerospace information (IRE RAN) and the academic institute (IGEM RAN). The prototype is based on using of the modern telecommunication and geoinformation means for qualitative improvement of the fundamental studies in the field of sciences about Earth. A mathematical model was developed for estimation of communication channel capacity through the Internet in transmission of the aerospace database to the local computer system of the IGEM RAN.
