Digital economy has become one of the main trends in the development of the global economy, significantly increasing labor productivity, saving work and personal time, and improving the quality of life. Simultaneously, there is a substantial difference in the level of digitalization between the economies of developed and developing countries. Significant issues of digital inequality and digital poverty arise even within a single country, where citizens may have different access to digital benefits. The research aims to examine the impact of digital economic development on economic growth and the advancement of international cooperation. The research tasks are to examine the concept and scope of the digital economy and study the role and mechanisms of the digital economy in economic growth and international cooperation. During the research, the authors apply various methods, including literature review and analysis of studies in the field of the digital economy, analysis of data by collecting and analyzing a large amount of data related to the digital economy (e.g., economic indicators and market data), empirical research (practical observation and measurement of the impact and effects of the digital economy), and thematic studies through in-depth examination of specific cases and analysis of social changes and economic effects caused by the digital economy.
