В данной статье рассматривается вопрос о том, как и почему возникла «трехкорешковая» схема строения крылонебного ганглия и почему она не раскрывает его истинного строения. Статья основана на изучении первоисточников от К. Галена до наших дней.

This article is kind of literature parsing due to examine the problem of how and why the «three-root diagram» of the pterygopalatine ganglion structure emerged and why it does not correspond to modern concept of its true anatomical structure. The article is based on the literature review of anatomists from C. Galen to the present day.
