This artical studies the role of emotional stress and personality in the manifestation and the course of psychosomatic disorders.Following results were obtained during examination of 34 patients with emotional stress preceded the development of psychosomatic disorders. All of them had high levels of situational anxiety and depression. Patients are characterized by high levels of neuroticism, melancholic temperament, "anxious", "pedantic", "hysteric" personality profile.
