ПРАГМАТИЧЕСКИЙ И КОГНИТИВНЫЙ ПОВОРОТЫ В ЛИНГВИСТИКЕ

Прагматический и когнитивный подходы к исследованию явлений языка являются своеобразным противовесом структурализму, выносившему за скобки факторы и обстоятельства употребления речи и человеческие механизмы употребления языка. Исследование прагматики языка сосредоточивается на объяснении человеческой деятельности, а когнитивизм интересуется механизмами человеческой ментальности.

Pragmatic and cognitive approaches once seemed to be a kind of counterbalance to structuralism, understood in a narrow sense as a study of linguistic phenomena in abstraction from human will. The study of the pragmatics of language focuses on explaining human speech activity, while the cognitive approach explores the mechanisms of human mentality responsible for producing and understanding speech in human languages. Now, these three disciplines collaborate and complement each other.
