Семейные ценности в англоязычных пословицах

Актуальность выбранной темы в том, что знание пословиц и поговорок способствует не только лучшему усвоению изучаемого языка, но и лучшему пониманию характера народа, его менталитета и своеобразной культуры. Знание пословиц и поговорок помогает проникнуть в мысли носителя языка, эмоциональный характер и его мышление. Эта тема также раскрывает многообразие пословиц в английском языке, расширяет познавательный интерес к стране, язык которого мы изучаем. Научная новизна статьи в том, что при сопоставительном анализе с культурой русского народа выявляются уникальные черты англоязычной культуры в отношении семьи, а также общие закономерности. В статье выявляются определенные категории семейных ценностей (ценность родственных связей, воспитание детей, супружеская верность и т. д.) и как именно они выражаются в пословицах. В статье решается проблема недостаточного изучения англоязычных пословиц, которые репрезентируют и транслируют семейные ценности, а также какие специфические особенности эти ценности имеют в рамках англоязычной культуры.

The relevance of the chosen topic lies in the fact that knowledge of proverbs and sayings contributes not only to a better assimilation of the language being studied, but also to a better understanding of the character of the people, their mentality and peculiar culture. Knowledge of proverbs and sayings helps to get into the thoughts of a native speaker, his emotional character and his thinking. This topic also reveals the diversity of proverbs in the English language, expands cognitive interest in the country whose language we are studying. The scientific novelty of the article is that a comparative analysis with the culture of the Russian people reveals unique features of the English-speaking culture in relation to the family, as well as general patterns. The article identifies certain categories of family values (the value of family ties, parenting, marital fidelity, etc.) and how exactly they are expressed in proverbs. The article addresses the problem of insufficient study of Russian-language proverbs that represent and convey family values, as well as what distinctive features these values have within the framework of Russian-language culture.
