The article "The Space of Rules and Rules of Space: Reflecting on Local Ordinances During the Covid-19 Pandemic" explores the impact of local regulations on social interaction and spatial organization in the context of the Covid19 pandemic. In the context of the global crisis caused by the spread of the virus, local authorities were forced to quickly adapt their rules and regulations, which led to significant changes in the use of public spaces. The authors analyze how these changes shaped citizens' behavior, their perception of security and space, as well as how they affected social dynamics and cultural practices. The article is based on empirical data collected in various cities and includes a theoretical framework based on the concepts of spatial sociology and political geography. The results of the study emphasize the importance of taking into account the local context when developing regulations and offer recommendations for future crisis situations, emphasizing the need for flexibility and adaptability of rules in response to changing conditions.
