INTERNATIONAL LEGAL ASPECTS OF COMBATING CLIMATE CHANGE AND STRATEGIES FOR THEIR RESOLUTION

This article analyses the international legal aspects of combating climate change and develops strategies to effectively address them. The paper highlights key international treaties, such as the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris Agreement, and explores their impact on global climate policy. The authors focus on the contribution of national courts and countries in the Global South to the application and development of international climate law. The article goes on to address the complexities involved in implementing international commitments and suggests measures to strengthen legal mechanisms to enhance the effectiveness of interstate co-operation in this area. Special attention is given to the need for deep engagement between countries and international organizations to combat climate change more decisively, highlighting the importance of a global response to this threat.
