Analysis and assessment of the life cycle of production of thermal insulations from mineral wool, Flax and expanded polystyrene using CaBi 6 software

The life cycle of construction materials includes all stages of production starting with raw materials, transport, material manufacturing and the installation in the built environment, subsequent operation, disposal or reuse. The production of construction material is the most significant in carbon accounting terms. For this reason in today's market of energy efficient and sustainable construction materials, preference is given to materials with a low carbon production footprint.
