An assessment of the resistance to peeling of the finishing layer based on the developed lime composition with the addition of a polysilicate solution is given. It has been established that the introduction of a polysilicate solution additive into the lime composition contributes to an increase in the adhesion strength of the finishing layer. Bond strength values were compared with shear stress values generated during the curing process to evaluate peel resistance. Various substrates have been used. The peel resistance was evaluated, taking into account the variability of the quality indicators of the finishing layer. The provision of resistance of the finishing coating to peeling was evaluated by the probability of peeling and the safety factor. It has been established that the adhesion strength at given values of the variability of the adhesion strength and shear stresses provides resistance to the peeling of the finishing layer during the curing process. The adhesion safety factor is 4.49 - 6.25, depending on the type of substrate used. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
