Obesity and fertility

The review summarises modern literature data dealing with the impact of obesity on female fertility. This aspect has not been fully elucidated and is a disputable theme. A systematic analysis of information available in modern literature gives an illustrative demonstration of a negative effect of obesity on fertility and the problem of obesity remains topical for a cohort of infertile female patients.
