CURRENT SITUATION WITH HYDROCARBONS IN ECUADOR AND ITS POTENTIAL

This study analyze the hydrocarbon resource and its potential in Ecuador. According the analysis, the total hydrocarbon reserves (3P) in Ecuador are 2695,2 MMBls, the total contingent resources (3C) is 1464, 64 MMBls and the total prospective resources taking in consideration risk are 659,3 MMBls. Furthermore, these results, the analysis also shows several projects with high potential to attract foreign capital investment.
