GERMAN SPEAKING COUNTRIES
In five European countries, such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein, German is the official language. Some countries have even several official languages, such as Switzerland, which has 4 official languages. All these countries are highly developed economically. Three countries are members of the European Union. Germany is a leading EU country.
