Micro- and ultrastructure of the pial arteries in experimental hypercholesterolemia

Morphological changes induced by experimental cholesterolemia in the walls of pial arteries of Chinchilla rabbits are studied by light and electron microscopy. It is found that these changes are typical of small artery atherosclerosis. ©1997 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
