El autor muestra las limitaciones del micro análisis tradicional y dos mega-enfoques analíticos - el formacional y civilizacional - en el estudio del constitucionalismo de América Latina. A cambio, propone enfoque estadial, cuya fuerza es la capacidad para interpretar el pasado y el presente del constitucionalismo, \r\nno sólo en América Latina, pero en ambos lados del Océano Atlántico, y también se prevén cambios en el desarrollo del constitucionalismo en un futuro lejano

EL ENFOQUE ESTADIAL EN EL ESTUDIO DEL CONSTITUCIONALISMO LATINOAMERICANO: PROBLEMAS Y PERSPECTIVAS

The author shows the limitations of traditional micro-analysis and two mega-analytical approaches - the formacional and civilizacional - in the study of Latin American constitutionalism. In exchange, he proposes estadial approach, whose strength is the ability to interpret the past and present of constitutionalism, not \r\nonly in Latin America, but on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, and also envisage changes in the development of constitutionalism in the distant future.
