UTILIZATION OF THE ORGANIC FRACTION OF MSW USING A COMBINED PYROLYSIS AND ANAEROBIC DIGESTION TECHNOLOGY

Nowadays, about 90 percent of the total amount of waste in Russia is buried in landfills. Landfills have a negative impact on the environment and human health. So, the purpose of this work was to develop a new scheme for utilizing the organic fraction of MSW using the technologies of pyrolysis and anaerobic digestion.
